Can needle hair treatments be performed if there is seborrheic dermatitis (oily eczema) or severe dandruff on the scalp?

Needle-based treatments (Mesotherapy, PRP) on the scalp are absolutely contraindicated (forbidden) when there is active seborrheic dermatitis (scaling, itching, intense flaking, and redness). Seborrheic dermatitis is an inflammatory condition in which the scalp barrier is disrupted and Malassezia fungi proliferate excessively. Performing needle-based treatments while this condition is active can spread the infection and inflammation to deeper layers of the scalp, further increasing hair loss. First, the eczema should be completely soothed with medicated shampoos and lotions, and needle-based treatments to strengthen hair follicles should only be considered after the scalp health has been restored.
