Microblading is a completely manual (by hand) procedure where fine strokes are made on the skin using a pen with micro-needles arranged side-by-side at its tip. These strokes are then filled with pigment to mimic the appearance of real hair. The powdering technique, on the other hand, uses a digital permanent makeup machine and micro-needles to create hundreds of micro-point strokes (shading) on ​​the skin per second; it doesn’t create a stroke, but rather an effect similar to applying eyeshadow. Because it doesn’t damage the skin and distributes the pigment evenly, the powdering technique is much more permanent than microblading, and especially on oily/porous skin, while microblading lines fade, the powdering technique maintains its clarity for a long time.
