Why is Gold Needle (Radiofrequency Microneedling) treatment superior to Dermapen in treating blemishes and acne scars?

While Dermapen only uses mechanical needling, the Gold Needle (RF) device penetrates the skin with insulated gold needles and delivers high-frequency “Radiofrequency” heat energy from the tip of the needle to the deep layers of the skin (dermis). Because the needles are insulated, the uppermost surface of the skin (epidermis) is not damaged by the heat at all, and there is no risk of burns. The heat energy directly breaks down the hardened fibrotic bonds in the deep tissue where the root of acne scars and blemishes is located, initiating much stronger collagen/elastin production. Its capacity to fill deep scar tissues from the bottom up is much higher than Dermapen.
