What is Dermaroller?

The Dermaroller is a cylindrical instrument with multiple needles depending on the area of use.The micro-needles are 0.5 – 2.5 mm in length, 0.1 mm in diameter and stainless steel. It is used to open the micro channels in the pores without damaging the skin and to make the products to be used in skin therapy more effective.

In Which Skin Treatments Can Dermaroller Be Used?

  • Skin renewal, recovery and elimination of loss of elasticity, tightening of large pores,
  • Spot treatment and pigmentation removal,
  • Narrowing the pores of acne, scar and large pore skin,
  • Removal of fine wrinkles,
  • Accelerating the passage of products under the skin, accelerating treatment.

How is Dermaroller Applied?

Dermaroller needle depth is adjusted according to the anatomy of the area to be treated and the severity of the problem (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5mm)

Anesthetic cream can be applied to the skin surface 30 minutes before the procedure. The skin is thoroughly cleaned and the Dermaroller is applied to the skin, opening thousands of microchannels. The micro channels created by the micro-needles are perceived by the skin as a wound. The production of collagen elastin and hyaluranic acid, which are growth factors that occur in the natural wound healing process of the skin, is triggered.Spot bleeding may occur after this application.Skin regenerating lotions and creams can be applied during and after the procedure.Micro-needles 200 times increase the passage of products such as cream lotion serum applied to the skin to the lower layers of the skin. The effectiveness of the procedure can be increased by using products that stimulate skin regeneration such as growth and factor, peptides, antioxidants and vitamins.

How Does Dermaroller Work?

The normal permeability of our skin is around 3%.Thanks to the tens of thousands of microchannels opened on the skin with the Dermaroller, this permeability is increased 200 times and the effect of the ampoules and concentrated serums used is seen much faster.

What are the Side Effects of Dermaroller Application?

Burning and stretching may be felt after the dermaroller procedure. This is a very normal condition and it will start to decrease within 1-2 hours. The next day, there may sometimes be scabs and flaking, and the upper dead skin begins to fall off.
