How does combining different laser wavelengths (Alexandrite, Diode, Nd:YAG) on the same body affect the healing and hair loss process?

Update date: 11 June 2026

Using different wavelengths in different sessions or with combined devices on the same body, or even the same area, provides hybrid success. For example, Alexandrite (755 nm), which has very high melanin absorption, provides rapid shedding in the first sessions in light-skinned and thick-haired areas (underarms, genitals), while Diode (810 nm) or Nd:YAG (1064 nm), which can penetrate deeper, give excellent results on leg, arm, or deeply embedded back hairs. This combination allows for simultaneous targeting of roots at different phases of the hair cycle and at different depths, reducing the total number of sessions and maximizing the comfort of shedding.
