The light emitted by laser hair removal devices is non-ionizing (non-radiating) light energy. The wavelengths of these rays (between 755nm and 1064nm) are designed to reach only the “dermis” layer, where hair follicles are located beneath the skin. The maximum depth a laser beam can penetrate the skin is 1 to 4 millimeters. Lymph nodes, ovaries, and internal organs in our bodies are located much deeper than this, beneath muscle and fat tissue. Therefore, it is biologically and physically impossible for laser beams to reach organs at this depth, cause infertility, or affect the lymphatic system.
