Why do coarse hairs that grow back very quickly after shaving become softer as they fall out with laser treatments?

In the initial sessions, shaving cuts the thickest and dullest part of the hair shaft horizontally, causing the hair to feel very stiff and prickly when it first grows back. However, as laser sessions begin, the roots are gradually damaged with each treatment, disrupting their nourishment. A hair follicle that is not nourished can no longer produce the same thick and strong keratin structure. Therefore, even if the hairs that grow between sessions are shaved, they reach the top in a much softer, thinner, lifeless, and downy state because the underlying root is weakened, and eventually fall out completely.
