What are the clinical differences between mesotherapy with a mesotherapy gun and manual (hand) injection?

Update date: 11 June 2026

Mesotherapy guns, with their computer-controlled system, standardize the precise depth (e.g., 2 mm or 4 mm) and amount of micro-dose product delivered to the skin with each shot. This significantly speeds up the process and reduces pain in larger areas (hair, entire face, cellulite treatment). However, manual injection (performed by the physician themselves) offers the flexibility to instantly adjust the depth and dose according to individual facial contours and very precise areas like under the eyes. Especially for treatments requiring very precise and pinpoint accuracy, the manual technique remains the gold standard.
